What this notice covers
This notice is about the information this website collects from you. Work we already do for you as practitioners is covered by our professional duties and by the file we hold on your matter, not by this page.
What we collect
The contact form asks for your name, email address, telephone number and message. That is the whole list. The Forms page hands you documents to download and takes nothing back from you, so browsing it leaves us with no record of who you are.
What we do with it
We read your enquiry and reply to it. Nothing you send through the form is used for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list. If your enquiry becomes a matter we act on, the information moves onto that file and our professional obligations take over from there.
Who else sees it
Nobody outside the firm, unless the law obliges us. We never sell or rent your details. Two suppliers touch the message on its way to us: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person rather than a bot submitted the form, and our email provider carries the message to our inbox. Neither uses it for anything of their own.
How long we keep it
Only as long as your enquiry needs. Once a conversation is finished and has not turned into work for you, the message goes.
Your rights under POPIA
You can ask us what we hold on you, have it corrected, or have it removed. Ask and we will attend to it. If you think we have handled your information badly, you can take the complaint to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
